Midterm and Final Exams

Midterm week occurred near the end of October. I had 3 tests to take during this period, all in-person. Following up to this week, I spent a lot of time studying at cafes or the library, as a lot of other students were doing. Cafes are especially packed with students studying during this time. I got my results back within 2 weeks from all my classes. Midterm and final exams counted for a majority of my grade for two of my classes, but the other 2 classes used group projects and assignments as another important factor for grades.

Final exam week occurred in the middle December. The week before that, we had what they called a “reading week” and I didn’t have any more regular classes during that time. I had 3 exams and 1 group project to turn in. This was quite a busy time for me as I wanted to make the most out of the remaining time I had in Korea, but I also had to study for my exams and finish my group project. For one of my classes, we actually voted to have the final a week earlier (which meant I was completely done with that class early on), but my other two classes had it during the actual finals week. This time around I started reviewing early and so I was less pressed for time and could go out more often. I was actually able to finish school before the semester actually ended, thanks to my exams being earlier in the week. Now that I’m done, I’m just enjoying my remaining time here and finishing up shopping.
