As an avid Kpop fan, one thing I was looking forward to in Korea was birthday cafes. Basically, on a K-Pop idol’s birthday (or the week of their birthday), certain cafes would host a birthday event and decorate their interiors with pictures, albums, etc of the idol. If you buy a drink from their special menu, you can get freebies like photo cards, cups, and stickers. This month alone I went to 5 Kpop cafes (for Stray Kids members Han, Felix, and Seungmin; for former Day6 member Jae; and for Twice member Nayeon). I used Twitter to find out which cafes were hosting events (search up the idol's name and "cafe event" or "cupsleeve" or "생일카페"), but I also just randomly stumbled on some cafes when I was walking around. All the ones I went to were in Mapo-gu district, specifically Hongdae. If someone you know likes K-Pop, this is a great opportunity to send them pictures and get something for them!

I personally liked the Nayeon cafe the best. The cafe was decorated with a lot of pictures and even had a life-size cutout of her! It also gave the best items, including a fan and a (fake) Nayeon-themed credit card.
